I worry about Washington bureaucrats coming up with regulations from the top down, and like to see stuff actually come from the bottom up.

Well, generally, I am a supporter of the government being more efficient, but I certainly don't think in the rulemaking process there should be any incentive to cut corners.

The American people and my constituents have lost trust in the Government for a variety of reasons, and I do not want to bring politics into public health.
