By any number of metrics, our economy is really strong, thanks in large part to the policies implemented by Congress in 2017 and 2018 and by the Trump Administration.

The goal of this hearing is to determine how we can build a hundred percent clean economy with opportunities for a low-carbon recovery.

For too long, Governor Inslee and others have turned a blind eye to the issues in their own backyard.

If these projects do not receive Federal attention, they may end up costing the Federal Government a substantial amount of funding in reconstruction and emergency response.
