I have always referred to basic research as the seed corn for future economic growth and human opportunity.

Right now I am hearing many complaints from small businesses that they can't give their employees back to work, and they would love to have them back on their payrolls.

We need to think about this beyond our borders and think globally.

The goal of this hearing is to determine how we can build a hundred percent clean economy with opportunities for a low-carbon recovery.
