I’m willing to suffer whatever punishment is available to me.
We have to demonstrate, and we’ve got to protest and be prepared to suffer the consequences.
Many people assume that means a statutory offense. It does not, and the word misdemeanor means misdeeds.
If you get in the way, if you’re arrested, then you’ve got to be willing to suffer the consequences.
