The hate in this country, the terrorism, mostly from the radical White supremacists is horrific.
I'm a former Memphis Police legal adviser. I've advocated for strong policing.
They tried to put a pipeline through a minority community, and they had the nerve to say it was the path of least resistance.
Every place, they don't want it in their back yard, and the powerful people, the wealthy people, the people that have voices... they don't get the pollutants in those areas.
So, we need to have this environmental justice for the future and to make up somewhat for the past, so I appreciate this hearing.

climate change has a disproportionate effect on poor people, and that is why we need to be concerned about it.
I wish that we had better results from the Department of the Interior on taking care of our four-legged friends and their opportunities to graze and not be treated inhumanely.
