The Clerk read as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __ For ``Department of Energy--Energy Programs--Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy'' for the Solar Energy Program, as authorized by sections 602(b), 604(e), 605(d), 606(d), and 607(i)(5) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, there is hereby appropriated, and the amount otherwise provided by this Act for ``Department of Energy-- Energy Programs--Fossil Energy Research and Development'' is hereby reduced by, $16,000,000 and $32,000,000, respectively.
