On the recordNovember 4, 2015
I thank the gentleman. Mr. Chairman, I thank Mr. Shuster and Mr. DeFazio as well for working with me and for working with the entire committee. The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee does work together in a bipartisan fashion, and the House does work. On the other hand and in the same vein, I had the pleasure of knowing Howard Coble for my entire time I have been in Congress. I was his ranking member on Judiciary, and he was my ranking member on Judiciary. We had a great relationship. He was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. He was a scholar. He was a gentleman. He loved North Carolina. He loved this House. He will be missed. He was an example of the way people can work together to make progress in the United States Congress. I was honored to know him. Mr. DeFAZIO. Mr. Chairman, I yield back the balance of my time.
