The Army has been talking about adjusting the length of deployment in some manner, and there has been ongoing discussions about that with the Army Chief of Staff and others, and this amendment merely asks the Secretary of the Army to give to the Congress a report on the relative pros and cons, what they are finding out and what they intend to do within I believe it is 90 days of the date this amendment passes. Mr. Chairman, I would urge acceptance of this amendment. Mr. Chairman, I reserve the balance of my time.
