I rise again today, in strong support of the 2008 Farm Bill. Mr. Speaker, because of a technical glitch, this Farm Bill will have a new number, but this is the same bill. This is the same bill that was passed on a bipartisan vote in the House of Representatives, and an overwhelming vote in the other body, and it is still, as it was last week, one of the most important pieces of legislation this Congress has passed this year. Mr. Speaker, it is critical that we have a stable farm policy in this Nation, for our farmers, and for every child who participates in a nutrition program. This is legislation that affects every citizen in this country. Again, this is a bill we can all be proud of. I urge my colleagues to support this legislation.
