I transmit to Congress herewith the copy of an act of the State of Missouri passed on the 16th ultimo, expressing the assent of that State to the several provisions of the act of Congress entitled 'An act to extend the western boundary of the State of Missouri to the Missouri River,' approved June 7, 1836.
