Thomas Daschle: “my reaction is, here we go again. Yet another piece of legislation laid down without any opportunity----”

One is defining our issues as clearly as we can. And before we can ever get to the solutions of healthcare, we have to make sure that we are all on the same page with regard to the problems of healthcare.

It's completely backwards--and it has to change.

I look forward to returning to public service at a pivotal moment in American history.

I am encouraged by the commitment President-elect Obama has made to early childhood education.
