I, too, commend the distinguished Budget Committee chairman and the ranking member for the extraordinary demonstration of leadership. This vote would not have been possible were it not for the way they worked with the White House, with us, in coming to the vote we have today. This is a historic moment. We will balance the budget as a result of this resolution. Democrats and Republicans alike can take credit and can take a great deal of pride in what we have done today. So I commend them and appreciate very much their leadership today.
