I think I would have to agree with that. I enjoyed listening to my colleague from Washington as he gave the quote, and I have a copy of that quote, and I began reading it. Without going through that long quote again, it does have a lot of relevance to the situation our country finds itself in today and to our debate tonight, where the leader says, ``I cannot support a failed foreign policy. The President began the mission with vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. There is no timetable, no legitimate definition of victory, no contingency plan for mission creep, no clear funding program.'' Those are the very issues that we debate today, and those are legitimate questions raised by the majority leader. Those are legitimate issues. That is a legitimate debate. Those comments were about, of course, the war in Kosovo. And while I may not agree with all of those points, I certainly do not see it as unpatriotic to raise those issues, just as it is not unpatriotic to raise those same issues today.
