Dusty M. Johnson is a Republican politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for South Dakota's at-large congressional district, a position he has held since January 3, 2019. Prior to his election to Congress, Johnson served on the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission and was a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives. His legislative focus includes issues related to agriculture, energy, and rural development, reflecting the interests of his constituents in South Dakota.
We need to reform our justice system, we need police reform, we need more accountable DAs.
So we are advocating for the federal governments to go into local jurisdiction to investigate prosecutions, and convict those who are causing harm to distance.
We have a problem with our prosecutions system. We have a problem with the lack of representation for indigenous defendants.
We cannot have a justice system that is unjust. We have a legal system that`s void of justice for African-Americans and Latinos across the country, and in many cases, poor whites as well.
This is the legacy of the Trump administration. It is about the otherness and emboldened so many people.
