The U.S. should maintain a safe, secure, and reliable nuclear deterrent for itself and its allies, and that this deterrent should be adequately funded and staffed with topnotch managers, scientists, and engineers.

I just wanted to make a really, I think, basic point on this issue, which is that we have, without doubt, the best military in the world.
