Mr. Speaker, I enjoy listening to my friends on the left talk about how they need to get on our side and stop the tax increases. But the funny problem is that the American people may like what they say, but they don't like what they do. I would only suggest and ask people to check the voting record on the tax increases. I would also say that our bill, our payroll tax extension bill, reduces the deficit, the debt by $953 million, a $953 million reduction.
