If you think about the lack of access to financial institutions to borrow money for a home or to start a new business, we might ask ourselves how do we expect for those rural areas that are on the wrong side of an uneven economic recovery to stimulate growth and opportunities when the access to the capital, the glue that makes things happen, is missing.
