Hypocrisy is nothing new in the House of Congress, unfortunately, and even in this House. My good friend from Colorado talks about what we're doing on the right-hand side. There's no question, however, that Mr. Polis himself voted for the Democratic Caucus budget proposed by Mr. Van Hollen, which would have increased spending by $4.5 trillion more than the Ryan budget. There is only one way to reduce the debt at that level of spending, and that's higher and higher taxes on the middle class.
