The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. ___. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to finalize, implement, or enforce the proposed rule of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration titled ``Corporate Average Fuel Economy Standards for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks for Model Years 2027-2032 and Fuel Efficiency Standards for Heavy-Duty Pickup Trucks and Vans for Model Years 2030-2035'', and issued on August 17, 2023 (88 Fed. Reg. 56128). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 838, the gentleman from South Carolina (Mr. Norman) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
