I think the U.S. offshore wind industry, it is a game changer for renewable energy and for our efforts to combat climate change.

I want to commend my colleague, Congresswoman Fletcher, for her work in developing legislation that embodies this principle.

I am also encouraged by FERC's efforts to finally establish an Office of Public Participation, as well as efforts to prepare for and combat cyber attacks on our energy infrastructure.

It is our responsibility on this Subcommittee to highlight, as we have in so many hearings, the issues important to the people we represent.
