Mr. Chairman, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. (a) Appropriations made in this Act are hereby reduced in the amount of $1,072,581,000. (b) The reduction in subsection (a) shall not apply to amounts made available for-- (1) accounts in title I; (2) ``Other Department of Defense Programs--Defense Health Program''; and (3) accounts in title IX.
