If this is not dilatory, what is the effect of passing this motion to recommit? I so often hear the preface, ``This doesn't send it back to committee; it doesn't kill the bill.'' The SPEAKER pro tempore. If adopted, the motion would recommit the bill back to committee.

What you`re seeing I think is folks, especially in my party, are looking at Donald Trump as damaged, and something that might weigh down the party going into the midterms and into 2024.
So that will be fascinating to see how it shakes out at the Supreme Court.
