I thank my friend from New Jersey, for whom I have a great deal of respect, Madam Chairwoman. And what he says is correct. What he says is absolutely and without reservation correct. What this government did during the first half of this decade was wrong. Borrowing the money as we did was wrong. To continue it, Madam Chairwoman, is just as wrong.

You know what? I think this is the most important topic that we should be talking about today.
It will mean heretofore that when a president is impeached that one party can deny the other witnesses, and that will be the new normal that would be trials without witnesses.
But after yesterday when she testified that he knew that there were guns on property and that he still encouraged people to go down to the Capital, that certainly changes my mind.
