So I want you to understand what is being proposed: Shutting down American fossil fuel exploration will make us more dependent on fossil fuels that are in the hands of the bad guys. Gas is $4.08 a gallon right now. This is the most dangerous idea tonight, today, for the American consumer. If you are tired of paying high gas prices, then vote Republican.
