Thus far the debate in this House I believe has brought honor to the House and is serving the American people well. Some of the rhetoric I disagree with, but that is what a debate is all about. I choose now to not use rhetoric, but to talk about the facts. I will talk to you about Article IV, abuse of power, and the offenses against this institution, the Congress, by the President of the United States. It is the one article that is very similar to the Watergate impeachment of President Nixon. Article IV is very similar to Article III in the Nixon case, and I will talk about that just in a moment, but first a quick summary from my perspective of what brought us here. What brought us here is not partisanship, but the conduct of one man who happened to be the President, who happened to be elected by the people and given the most solemn responsibility in the Nation, to be the chief law enforcement officer of the land, and he failed miserably in that responsibility and he deserves to be impeached based on what he did, not what I think about him, not how I voted, but what he did.

Because, before, I thought the money was coming from the West. If the West funds Iran, I think that would be a Marshall Plan with a Nazi still in charge for Germany. If the plan envisions the Sunni Arabs – yes, if the Sunni Arabs do it.

Trump and Bibi [Netanyahu] are like Roosevelt and Churchill. They’re the right two guys to confront this evil.
