I rise to support this bill. It is something of an irony that I do, since at my house we do not have cable, we do not have a satellite dish, and we barely have a television. But I like this bill because it seems to delay things until folks can sort out exactly what is fair and what is equitable in order to enhance competition, which is the American way. I commend my colleague for bringing this forward and the chairman of the committee for bringing it forward to increase competition and to make sure that there is a level playing field for all of those who provide services to our homes.
