last week, Governor Henry McMaster gave the South Carolina State of the State Address. I am grateful that under his leadership, the Palmetto State has had another historic year of over $900 billion of investments, creating 8,000 jobs, 100,000 jobs during his record 10 years of service. Governor McMaster is correct: `` . . . State government is in superior fiscal shape, our laws and policies are business friendly . . . The best is yet to come.'' South Carolina succeeds with Governor McMaster, Republican super majorities in the senate, led by President Tom Alexander, the house by Speaker Murrell Smith, the Republican Congress, and President Trump, all to make America great again. In conclusion, God bless our troops as the global war on terrorism continues. Trump is reinstituting peace through strength, revealing war Putin criminals lies, insulting Trump, mocking Trump, with Putin destroying Ukrainian utilities to freeze Ukrainians to death just as Stalin starved Ukrainians to death, while a maternity ward is being targeted by war criminal Putin yesterday to kill babies. Our sympathy for the family of Karen Metz, wife of my chief of staff from South Carolina, Craig Metz; mother of Preston Metz.
