I just cannot let these things go without being spread on the record. As I say, Mr. Chairman, I do not have extremely strong feelings about this amendment, but some things must be said. I would ask the gentleman, who I know with great personal courage visited Afghanistan many times, but Afghanistan was a major, major, major, major conflict in the cold war. I would ask the gentleman if he remembers and agrees with me that in every instance, in every instance, India supported the Russian invasion of Afghanistan.
