Madam Speaker, more costly disclosures continue to come out about the government health care takeover. And why should we be surprised, when Speaker Pelosi told the American people that we need to--and I quote--``pass the bill so we can find out what is in it''? The more we find out, the worse it looks. The latest analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office reveals that the health care takeover will cost at least $115 billion more than originally estimated. This follows last month's CMS report that highlighted health care costs will increase by $311 billion over the next 10 years, and will force millions of seniors off their current Medicare coverage. Washington must stop promising one thing and delivering another, particularly when it comes to price tags. If Congress continues to drag its feet, runaway deficits and unsustainable debt are sure to cripple our economy and would lead us down the same path as Greece. In conclusion, God bless our troops, and we will never forget September 11th in the Global War on Terrorism. My sympathy to the family of Betty Jackson Mack of Gaston, South Carolina. ____________________
