On the recordFebruary 8, 1995
I would like to say one thing: I see my distinguished colleague, the gentleman from New York [Mr. Owens], here, and even though in many of the economic issues we disagree, I want to point out something, that on the floor, when the leadership of his party was blasting Christians, two of the Members of the Black Caucus came up to me, Major, and they grabbed me by the arm and said, ``Duke, don't you ever lose your Judeo-Christian values,'' and they stick tight, and they believe in those values, and I would like to thank my friend, Mr. Owens.
