I think it is the height for someone that spent time in the majority that consistently voted to take money out of Social Security to then come up and rail on Republicans on Social Security. The gentleman that just spoke did that very same thing time and time again. Secondly, I was in the hearing where General Shelton testified to the President's budget on defense. He said that the President's budget was completely adequate on defense. We added $16 billion to that fact. And now the General says that 1 percent would be hurtful, after we added $16 billion and he testified that $16 billion would be less. General Shelton is a war hero, but I think he has no political spine in the fact that he is supporting the President and the Democrats in trying to veto every single one of these bills so that they can spend more money. My colleagues ought to be ashamed of themselves, absolutely ashamed.
