I came to this debate fully expecting that there would be a donnybrook and battle. I think it has been a very healthy debate, showing differences on the issues itself. It did not get personal. There was very little partisanship that went through. I think that is very, very good. I would also like to thank the gentleman from Michigan (Mr. Kildee). Of anybody I have worked with in Congress, both when he was my chairman on the committee and then when I was his chairman on the committee, there is no other one on the other side of the aisle that I have ever worked better with on education issues.
