Where we ask someone to privatize and to save money and they go through the extraordinary function to do that, then I think that we ought to honor that and not renege on our promise. I do not have any Indian tribes in my district, but I think it is terrible what this country has done to Native Americans, and this is one area in which I think we can stand out, take a step and be counted, and help our Native Americans. I rise in support of the amendment.
