My concern now is we are equating pro-growth economic policies with more government spending.

Absolutely not. We cannot shut the government down, regardless of what happens here.

I certainly plan to oppose it, and I would encourage all of you to think.

We applaud the leadership shown by Chairman Rockefeller, Ranking Member Hutchison, Senator Kerry, Senator DeMint and other Members of the Committee.
