I think that the two stories being told in this trial, and one is that there is no anti-policing among black people. They reached out to the police for someone to come to their aid and come to the aid of this man whose life was being snuffed out by a bad police officer.
Clyburn emphasizes that the actions of the bystanders during the incident show that there is no anti-policing sentiment among black people.
