I lost my father April 14 of this year to Alzheimer's. It is a terrible disease. I watched how it affected him. I know that there are millions of Americans and American families that are dealing with Alzheimer's. The 21st Century Cures Act will focus some resources so we can find a cure for Alzheimer's and we can find a cure for these diseases that are costing American taxpayers so much money. I want to applaud the chairman, and I want to urge everyone to get behind the 21st Century Cures Act so we can find a cure for diseases like Alzheimer's in memory of my father, John Duncan.
