Reducing inequality and mitigating climate change go hand in hand.

The notion that we can have energy independence in the United States with fossil fuel is a complete fantasy.

Economic inequality not only is an injustice in and of itself, but it actually impedes economic growth.

Investments that reduce economic inequality... are how we make our economy and our budget stronger and more stable.

Time and again the solutions have been there. But politics has kept Congress from taking the necessary actions.

Showering tax cuts on the wealthy, and on big MAGA donors, and on big oil, are in my view not serious pathways to fiscal responsibility.

I would wrap up by suggesting some flexibility around the 49 percent for communities that don't have a lot of resources.
