We are trying to electrify our transit system. We have a statewide system. I think we might be unique in the country.

There is absolutely no acceptable or safe level of lead exposure, for our children, or for anyone.

Now, as Chief Engineer, prior to becoming the Acting Architect, will you take any steps to try to improve this process?

Now, are there any issues regarding contracting? Because I would presume that you would have to engage contractors, subcontractors, etcetera.

And what resources or other support do you believe you need in order to correct these factors long term? And is it reflected in this budget?
