Rhode Islanders have a clear choice: a governor who has spent every day fighting for working families, or a corporate executive who has spent her career fighting for corporate profits in the boardroom.

And while this budget represents meaningful progress, I want to be clear: my fight for affordability is far from over.

I’m a public school advocate, and I will use any tool in the box to help us reach the potential for our students that live in the state of Rhode Island.

I look at this as a moment in time to kind of pause, reassess, making sure my commitment to this role is exactly as it’s always been.

As a governor, a father, and grandfather, my heart is heavy thinking of the tragedies these survivors and their families have endured. This legislation will help deliver justice that so many are owed.

The moratorium is going to give us a chance to really work through those issues, and also continue to make sure that the charter schools are delivering and helping us achieve the goal that I’ve set, to help us meet or exceed Massachusetts…

The cap, you know, I want to see that it’s been increased, but I’ll take a look at it, and we’ll see where we go.

The Washington Bridge, again, is on schedule, and I think you’re gonna hear that we’re actually ahead of schedule.

We’re providing the information that needs to be provided.

We’re building a new bridge that will serve Rhode Islanders for generations to come.

Federal policies are making it harder for Rhode Island families to keep up with an ever-rising cost of living.

Good-paying jobs are the key to a strong economy, and we’ll continue to make strategic investments and create more opportunities for our state.
