“Mr. Speaker, I do want to say, in relationship to the Environmental Education Act, all of us 5 years ago had agreed, and I made a powerful closing speech at the end of those 5 years, we want to make sure that the private sector understands that they will pick it up. And of course Native Americans truly owe him a debt of gratitude because he and the gentleman from Michigan [Mr. Kildee], a few others who were there, and the gentleman from Alaska [Mr. Young], were the staunchest supporters to provide a better way of life for our Native Americans. So on this side of the aisle, we thank the gentleman from Wyoming [Mr. Williams] for all his efforts on behalf of children and parents.”
