For example, through my position as ranking Republican on the Committee on Government Operations, which is principal oversight committee of the Congress, I have been reviewing some disturbing circumstances surrounding the investigation of Vince Foster's death, not to determine the cause of death or not even, frankly, to determine whether that death had any involvement with the Whitewater situation or not, but really to try and determine if there was in fact an improper impediment or interference with that investigation by the White House.”
