What I find particularly pernicious is the attempt to conflate the issues of migrants seeking legal asylum through our legal processes with the very real scourge of fentanyl trafficking.
Colleagues on the other side of the aisle seem to have called this hearing to really promote fearmongering or disinformation to justify a radical plan that would effectively shut down asylum to everyone.
