The subcommittee will come to order, and I thank you for your indulgence.

Might I add, as I started out, it is important when Congress issues mandates to note that they are for the betterment of the American people; and we will work diligently to comply.

I remind each Member that he or she will have 5 minutes to question the panel.

It raises an issue of security to the crisis level of great concern.

So I really think I am going to go directly to you.

I thought I would acknowledge the Ranking Member for both his diligence and his support for the product in his district.

You can say that big banks create a monopoly, and it may be that they are intrinsically part of the capitalistic system.

I still think there is a monopolistic scenario with all the big banks.
