I thank the chairman for helping me to improve this bill by including Steve King's immigration prohibitions and strong tools to stop currency manipulation. We need to establish a process at Customs that will stop duty evasion, which hurts manufacturers in my district. You and I, Mr. Chairman, have talked about having Customs investigate and decide duty-evasion cases subject to deadlines. Subjecting the decisionmaking process at Customs to review at the U.S. Court of International Trade will allow U.S. manufacturers hurt by duty evasion to finally get the relief that they deserve. Mr. Chairman, do you commit to working with me on achieving these goals in conference?
