My new legislation, the Military Families Job Continuity Act, offers a $500 tax credit to any military spouse who has to renew or transfer a professional license when a permanent change-of-station order takes their family across State lines. This tax credit will ease the stress of transfers and help military spouses quickly reenter the workforce. I urge my colleagues to renew our commitment to our soldiers and to our soldiers' families by supporting the Military Families Job Continuity Act.
