You know when we talk about the environment; you know Earth Day is coming up in April; it occurs to me that for us to continue the environmental movement started some years ago and to carry on the issues that Major Carson, an environmental leader, started in the years before that by other conservationists, I am wondering whether we are doing enough to inform, educate, and inspire youth to go into fields that deal with conservation, that deal with community participation, even if it is not going to be a profession, in those areas of environmental preservation, and whether you had thought about programs in your district and for the country which would accentuate that and would promote it.
