John Joyce: “I rise to recognize the Blair County Conservation District for 60 years of service as an advocate for natural resources…”

On the recordMay 19, 2026
I rise to recognize the Blair County Conservation District for 60 years of service as an advocate for natural resources and the county's agricultural community. Established in 1966, the Conservation District focuses on the protection and the preservation of Blair County's natural resources. With pride, I join in a yearlong commemoration of the Conservation District's milestone anniversary. For six decades, the district has played an essential role in supporting our communities through conservation programs that help to preserve Blair County's rich natural heritage for future generations. Mr. Speaker, I express gratitude to Conservation District Manager Donna Fisher, her board of directors, and the professional staff for expanding upon their distinguished legacy.
