I can assure the gentleman, as the gentleman from Massachusetts (Mr. Delahunt) can, that there was no lack of trying to get that exit strategy from the administration last fall. I wrote letters to the President. I know the gentleman from Massachusetts (Mr. Delahunt) participated in similar efforts. He and I serve on the Committee on International Relations. There was great efforts at hearings as well as individual letters written to the administration seeking information.
