I had twice at least sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution as a naval officer and as a Member of Congress.

I worry about some group, whether it is national or international, that plan and plot a terrorist act that takes place in the United States.

What we end up doing today and this week and this month and this year in this Committee will determine the transportation future of this Nation for generations to come.
