I can’t find one Republican who thinks this is a good idea.

These are not helping the president or his party, it’s hurting his own team.

This asylum system is broken. Most of these people come across the border are economic migrants. They are not legitimate asylum cases.

They need to move away from that and get serious about negotiating more barriers, more beds, more immigration judges, technology, as Maria said drones.
